VERY FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE
USING THREE DAYS IN TWO FACILITIES
Classes are offered in both
of the new West Vancouver Community Centers, on non conflicting days, as one
single program, in order to promote greater flexibility for participants with
busy schedules, and to ensure closer training facilities in all areas of the
community.
Karate Club participants
are entitled to train at both facilities and on two of the three days per week
for the posted program fee. Those that prefer all three days will pay an
additional fee. The choice of days and locations is not pre-selected and can
change any week as required by the participant without notice.
General sessions Jan.12 - Apr.1, Apr.6 - Jun.24, Physically disabled classes
Jan.13 - Mar.31, Apr.7 - Jun.23
Karate for the physically disabled Wednesday at Gleneagles, 7:30 - 8:30 P.M.
Spring 2010
All levels and ages classes are structured to offer a more diverse training
opportunity and experience, which includes a mix of total group activity as well
as separate training groups selected by age and/or belt levels. This allows very
effective multi age participation in the classes.
TRAINING FEES
Although training fees are based on students training two days of the week,
those who prefer to train more can pay an additional fee for the third day. The
karate program is taught in pre-scheduled sessions based on historical periods
which account for Christmas, Spring Break and so on. Since the sessions vary in
duration the fees also vary by session. Please contact the West Vancouver Rec
Centers for the current session dates and fees.
ORGANIZATION AND ASSOCIATION DUES
Those that continue in their karate club training and test for higher belts
will be required to pay modest additional fees for membership in SportBC
sanctioned KarateBC and for the International Shotokan Karate Federation. Please
discuss with your instructor.
